Following Bella Swan's (Kristen Stewart) 18th birthday, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his vampirish family depart the town of Forks, Washington in an attempt to protect Bella from the dangers of their supernatural world. Heartbroken Bella sulks through the next few months of her school year until childhood-friend, Jacob (Taylor Lautner), encourages her out of her slump by fixing up two motorcycles for them to enjoy together. Bella and Jacob's growing friendship begins to heal Bella's broken heart. But what she doesn't know is that Jacob, a member of the sketchy Quileute tribe, has a supernatural secret of his own.
Upon being rescued by a pack of abnormally large wolves from a former nemesis, Bella learns Jacob's secret and Edward's true motivation for leaving her. Racing against the clock, Bella must make the most difficult decision of her life: her true love Edward, or her best friend Jacob.
In my opinion, New Moon was a ton better than Twilight. It included a lot more action and comedy, though I must admit some of the script was pretty lame. I liked the book Twilight better than I liked the movie, but I think they did a good job on New Moon by portraying the real message of the book.
If you like fantasy and romance novels, or you've seen or read Twilight, you should definitley look into going to see New Moon.
