You make the cartilage in my knees melt,
like pop-sickles on a hot summer day.
And every time I get around you, tiny
pulsing sparks race through my veins.
I
love saying “hello,” and regret
saying "goodbye." I like the way you smile
and love the way you laugh. I envy your
strength and courage that I’ve never had.
Love
doesn’t even begin to explain the way you
make my heart pound or throb with
feeling and excitement. I’ve grown so
accustomed to having you around.
You
are always on my mind, from the moment
I wake up till the moment I fall asleep.
I hope I can make you feel just as
blissful and amazing as you make me.

I love Ellen Hopkins. Her style of writing always gets to me. I love it. This is pretty awesome [:
ReplyDeleteIt's good, but should put quotation marks around "goodbye" since you did them around "hello."
